Four persons, including a three- year-old boy, were killed and four others injured in a blast which took place Monday in Auragabad city of the western Indian state of Maharashtra, said police.
A blast in a gas cylinder was suspected to be the cause of the incident in which a house was partially damaged and two persons were killed on the spot. Two others died after being sent to hospital.
Accidents in workshops and small factories are common in India due to lack of safety measures.
