Morochata - UPI
A landslide caused by heavy rains in Morochata, Bolivia, killed two adults and a child and at least 11 other people were missing, officials said.
The landslide was 262 to 328 feet across and buried about 90 percent of the village Saturday, Los Tiempos reported Monday.
"It is down every hill and has covered all the houses, eight have disappeared completely and ... families with their belongings and animals have been left in the mud," said Feliciano Vegamonte, coordinator of Social Movements of the government of Cochabamba.
