Maoist militants in east India

Two policemen including a deputy commandant of the CRPF were killed Friday in an encounter with Maoist militants in Jamui district of eastern Indian state of Bihar.
The attack took place near Khaira forest in Jamui when a team of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) troopers was patrolling the area.
A CRPF deputy commandant and one CRPF personnel was killed, said the official.
Gunfight is still going on and more details are awaited.
