Two people died Sunday and four were injured when a
house was destroyed by a landslide in the Swiss city of Lugano,
police said, according to dpa.
Following heavy rainfalls in the southern canton of Ticino, the
landslide hit a three-story residential building early in the
morning.
Several landslides swept down rain-drenched slopes in the canton of
Ticino overnight. Some roads were under water and had to be
closed when Lake Lugano overflowed.
