At least two people were injured when two trains collided Sunday afternoon in Macedonia. The collision occurred around 6 p.m. on Sunday on the Skopje-Gevgelija railroad near the central town of Veles, some 55 km south of the Macedonian capital Skopje, according to 24 news TV and Republika.mk website. At least two injured passengers were immediately transported to the State hospital in Skopje, said the reports. Ten carriages have derailed in the crash. Local police confirmed the information, but the cause of the crash was not immediately reported. The train traffic on the railway from Skopje to Gevgelija, at the border with Greece, was suspended.
