Fourteen people were killed while seven others injured in an explosion in a village in southwest China's Guizhou Province on Monday, state-run Xinhua News Agency reported.
The explosion occurred around 2:30 p.m. (0630 GMT) at a village in the city of Kaili, the report said.
The provincial government has urged local authorities to spare no efforts in treating the injured. Investigation into the case is now in full swing, it added.
