At least 10 people were killed and 11 others injured in two traffic accidents in Turkey on Monday, private Dogan news agency reported. A minibus collided with a car in Kovancilar town of the eastern province of Elazig on Monday evening, leaving five people dead and two others injured, according to the report. Earlier in the day, two speeding cars collided on Sanliurfa- Diyarbakir Highway near Hamurkesen village in Turkey's southeastern Sanliurfa province, killing five people and injuring nine others, the report said, adding that a number of ambulances were dispatched to the area and the injured were taken to hospitals for treatment.
