Multi-vehicle collision

Ten people were injured in a collision involving two school buses and five other vehicles Thursday in the North Little Rock area of Arkansas,
A total of 115 people, including the North Little Rock High School football team riding in both of the buses, were involved in the accident, which happened shortly after 3:30 p.m. local time, according to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette newspaper.
Five other vehicles,including a tractor-trailer, two trucks, a van and a Toyota Camry, were involved in the accident, and all the injured were sent to hospitals for treatment.
A spokesman for the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department confirmed that both lanes of I-40 eastbound were closed immediately after the accident.
The cause of the accident remains unclear.
