Asian Handball Championship Manama - Arab Today Qatar and the UAE advaced to the semi-finals of the 16th Asian Men's Handball Championship after beating Japan and Oman in respectively in Group B on Monday. Kuwait came third after beating Iraq. Qatar beat Japan 33-26, while the UAE earned a 27-26 victory over Oman, and Kuwait managed to came third after a breathtaking 29-28 victory over Iraq. Qatar will now play against Iran, which came second in Group A, while the Bahrain meets the UAE. The two matches will be held tomorrow. Source: KUNA
