A soldier was hit on Friday in his head in a shooting by unknown militants in Port Said, 220 km northeast Cairo, a security source said. The soldier was wounded in an attack by unidentified gunmen apparently involved in the smuggling of goods, the source was quoted as saying by Egypt's official news agency, MENA. The soldier was taken to a military hospital due to his critical condition, the source added.
