President Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued a republican decree to amend a number of articles related to regulating the general secretariat of the National Security Council.

Under the amendment, the secretary general will be assigned to endorse the organizational entity of the general secretariat of the national security council and issue the technical, financial and administrative regulations.
