The so-called “National Coalition to Support Legitimacy,” a group made up of supporters of ousted president Mohamed Morsi, called on its supporters to stage protests Friday to reject jail terms against Azhar University students. In a statement Thursday, the coalition said the protests themed “no to retaliatory justice” aims to express rejection of trying Morsi over the Ittihadiya presidential palace events and sentencing 12 university students to 17 years in prison over the recent Azhar University riots.
