A policeman was killed by unidentified gunmen on the ring road in southern Arish. The gunmen opened fire at Sergeant Mohamed Zayed, 40, as he was riding his bicycle on his way back to his house. He was shot in the head and right leg. The corpse was moved to the Military Hospital in Arish.
