A Palestinian missile, fired from Gaza Strip, struck an open area near the southern Israeli town of Eshkol on Friday evening, the Israeli army said. The attack resulted in neither human casualty nor material damage, a military spokesman told Israel Radio. The early warning systems in south Israel were not activated after the attack, he noted. No Palestinian faction in Gaza Strip claimed responsibility for the missile attack so far.
