Lebanese President Michel Suleiman on Tuesday denounced the suicide bombing that targeted the Southern Suburb of Beirut today, urging response to terrorism through coexistence "National unity aims to curb the chances of terrorism which must be fought strongly, mercilessly," Suleiman addressed the consular corps at the presidential palace. He said fighting terrorism and extremism, which cannot differentiate between sects and religions, has become an international trend. In this context, the Lebanese leader hoped that the Special Tribunal for Lebanon would succeed in apprehending the real assassins of former prime minister Rafik Hariri. Four people were killed and 27 others injured in today's explosion that hit Haret Hraik area of the southern suburb of Beirut earlier on Tuesday.
