Head of Lebanon’s Free Patriotic Movement Michel Aoun met Monday with Egypt’s Consul here Sherif el-Bahrawy to discuss the latest developments in the region. Bahrawy apprised him of the Egyptian government’s efforts to carry out a future roadmap for the democratic transition. The former Lebanese army commander expressed support for Egypt’s anti-terrorism efforts. The two sides also tackled Lebanese developments, especially with the approach of the presidential elections in the country.
