Lebanese army foils attempt by al Nusra Front militants

The Lebanese army artillery on Saturday shelled a number of al Nusra Front militants to foil their attempts to penetrate army's outputs in the Lebanese town of Arsal.
This coincides with the second consecutive day of ongoing clashes between Syrian army and Hezbollah militia on one side and al Nusra Front militants on other side in the barrens of Arsal near Syrian borders.
Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri has authorized the Lebanese army earlier to launch a well planned military operation in coordination with the Syrian army at the area of Arsal on the Syrian-Lebanese borders.
Lebanese sources reported that the Lebanese army is surrounding the area of Arsal to prevent armed militants from sneaking to it.
