Kuwait reiterated its full support for the Palestinian people's struggle to regain all their legitimate political rights including establishing an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital. The remark came in a speech by Kuwait's deputy delegate to the UN Abdulaziz Al-Jarallah at the 68th session of the UN general assembly. "The region still suffers from political and security tension because Israel continues to build its illegitimate settlements, besiege the Gaza Strip and arrest thousands of Palestinians in a very inhumane way," Jarallah said.
