Jordan's Border Guard Foils Drug Trafficking Bid

Jordanian border guards Thursday foiled an attempt to smuggle in large amounts of drugs from Syria, seized the contraband and arrested four suspects. 
"An advance watch force on the northeastern side of the frontier tracked the suspects' movement, applying rules of engagement and seizing 781,000 Captagon drug pills and 180,000 bags of hashish", Jordan Armed Forces- Arab Army general headquarters said in a statement carried by Jordan News Agency (Petra).
