Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Education Minister Mohamed Thneibat on Tuesday said that Egypt is the Arab country with the largest stock of scientists and intellectuals.
In online statements to MENA, he added that education is a basic pillar for achieving sustainable development. He underlined on this score the necessity of upgrading education and not to allow red-tape to hamper the educational process.
The Jordanian minister also confirmed that education is a collective societal responsibility, involving also the family and civil society. It is not the responsibility of the education ministries alone, he added.
