Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh said here on Wednesday his country is willing to work with the GCC member states to promote bilateral cooperation and integration. Speaking at a meeting of foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states, Jordan and Morocco, which kick-started here today, Judeh said Jordan-Gulf cooperation at present is taking an institutional shape through previously reached agreements. He voiced hope that both sides would work together to beef up this cooperation with a view to notching up the aspired stage of cooperation and integration between Jordan and the GCC members. He wished that the meeting held here would come up with outcomes that could bring benefits to the countries and people of the region, urging joint specialized teams to translate deals into reality. Concerted efforts in this regard would certainly result in a further promotion and development of bilateral cooperation in all fields, leading up to the fulfillment of the aspired goal, primarily a complementary strategic partnership, he said. The Jordanian foreign minister appreciated the GCC countries' USD-5-billion donation for development projects in Jordan.
