Violent clashes erupted Tuesday when the Israeli army stormed Abu Deis town, in eastern Al-Quds, clamping a siege and demolished Palestinian houses. A reliable source at the Committee on Resistance of the Separation Wall Bassam Bahr said the Israeli occupation vehicles pushed deep into Abu Deis and demolished a Palestinian house, sparking off violent clashes between Palestinian youths and occupation forces. The Israeli forces showered the Palestinians with rubber-coated bullets and tear gas bombs to disperse them. As many as 50 Israeli patrols are clamping a siege on the city. A fire broke out at Al-Quds University campus after it has been hit by sonic and light bombs, added Bahr. Meanwhile, a 10-year-old Palestinian boy was injured by a sonic bomb which left him with burns, while a 28-year-old Palestinian was arrested in Selwan town, south of Al-Aqsa mosque..
