Cairo - Arab Today
The Administrative Control Authority (ACA) arrested early Tuesday one of the largest international human organ trafficking cells.
The cell - comprising Egyptian and Arab nationals - exploited the difficult economic conditions of some Egyptians to sell their organs for chickenfeed of what the traffickers get.
Millions of dollars and Egyptian pounds were found on the detainees - who comprised doctors, nurses and brokers.
The ACA uncovered detailed confessions by the detainees about the sums of money they received.
The ACA also seized all documents and computers involving organs trafficking operations.
