Palestinian Hamas movement said the death of former Israeli Premier Ariel Sharon constituted "a lesson for all tyrants". The Israeli authorities announced the death of Sharon on Saturday at the age of 85 after eight years in a coma, PIC reported. Sami Abu Zuhri, a Hamas spokesman, said that the Palestinian people were happy at the death of that "criminal" whose hands were smeared with Palestinian blood. "We are now more confident of victory with the departure of such tyrants," he added.
