A court in Gaza has sentenced a man to five years in prison for drug dealing. The man was caught in possession of seven grams of hashish and convicted of possession and dealing drugs, a court statement said Wednesday. He was tried at Bidaya court on Monday. Police had urged the court to issue a harsh sentence in order to deter drug dealers in the Gaza Strip, the statement added.
