Egyptian forces on Wednesday seized a car carrying large quantities of cannabis in central Sinai, security sources said. A security official told Ma'an that border guards hid in palm trees and ambushed the vehicle, confiscating nearly a ton of cannabis. The driver was detained for further investigation.
