Egyptian Prime Minister Hazem Al-Biblawi met here on Thursday Kuwaiti Ambassador in Cairo Salem Al-Zamanan on how to further promote and develop bilateral cooperative relations. During the meeting, the premier voiced thanks and appreciation for Kuwait's material and moral support for Egypt during this difficult transitional period, Spokesman for the Cabinet Hani Salah told reporters. Kuwait had pledged USD 4 billion in aid to Egypt following the ouster of president Mohamed Morsi in July. The Egyptian prime minister assured that the Egyptian economic situation was improving and rates of confidence in Egypt's national economy were increasing, the spokesman said. They also discussed during the meeting ways and means of attracting more Kuwaiti investments to Egypt, the spokesman said, vowing that the government would do its best to wipe out potential obstacles facing Kuwaiti investors.
