UAE Vice President and Dubai Ruler Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashed al-Maktoum received Wednesday Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani. Sheikh Mohamed welcomed the Qatari emir\'s visit, stressing the depth of bilateral ties, according to the UAE news agency. The two sides discussed means of promoting bilateral cooperation in various domains. Senior officials from both sides attended the meeting. The Qatari emir arrived in the UAE earlier Wednesday on a two-day official visit within the framework of a tour to the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council for talks on the latest regional developments.
