The Nile's Rosetta branch tributary has been cleaned out, said Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Mohamed Abdel Aati. 

The tributary has been cleaned from any grass or pollution, said head of the protection and development of Nile River Salah Ezz. 

The ministry is keen on cleaning the Nile River from any encroachments, he added.
