The Arab Women Organization (AWO) participated on Sunday in the 1st Arab workshop under the title “human trafficking and migrant smuggling” organized by the Arab League.

The workshop discussed collecting information and analyzing data concerning human trafficking in the Arab world as well as distinguishing between human trafficking and migrant smuggling and coordinating efforts to combat human trafficking in the Arab countries.

The workshop also aims for exchanging experience on and finding solutions for combating human trafficking and migrant smuggling.
