Arab cooperation discussed

Oil Minister Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa has met the Arab Maritime Petroleum Transport Company (A.M.P.T.C.)'s Chairman Adel Abdelaziz Al Jassim in the presence of National Oil & Gas Authority (NOGA)'s Secretary-general Dr. Ahmed Ali Al Sherian, and NOGA's Director-general for Strategies & Planning, Ali Abdel Jabbar Al Sawad.
Various topics pertaining to the Company's business and aspects of cooperation between the company and Bahraini oil firms, maritime transportation, crude oil, derivatives and LPG were also discussed during the meeting. 

Al Jassim expressed his gratitude and appreciation of the minister's welcoming reception and discussion of key topics in the interest of developing the Company's business and boosting joint Arab work to achieve the aspirations of all.

A.M.P.T.C was established in 1973 by member countries of the Organisation of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (O.A.P.E.C.) In accordance with a decree of the Council of Oil of its Member States. The Kuwait-based Company was missioned to provide maritime transport services of hydrocarbon substances for the benefit of O.A.P.E.C. and its members, as well as, to trade independently in the international market.
