Al Azhar denounced in a statement Thursday the terror acts that hit several parts of the country, stressing that Islam forbids all sorts of terrorizing innocent people. The statement called on all Egyptians to distance themselves from any act that lead to destabilize the country or cause violence. It also urged religious, cultural and media institutions to abide by a non-violent track in their practices and activities.
