Three policemen were killed and another injured on Tuesday when a roadside bomb exploded in the Qayyarah, south of Mosul, Nineveh province. A police source told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that the bomb exploded at a local police patrol at the entrance to Qayyarah, killing three members of the patrol and wounding another. Meanwhile, gunmen assassinated a contractor as he left his home in the Rifai area west of Mosul.
