Sixteen people were killed in a dual bombing in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, Monday while a former MP was shot dead in the southern Nasiriya City, a police source said. Two explosive devices were detonated in a cafe shop in Sadriya area, central Baghdad, killing 16 people and injuring 30 others, the source told KUNA. Meanwhile, unknwon gunmen shot dead former MP Sheikh Jamal Al-Fares in front of his house in Nasiriya, said the source. No one claimed responsibility for the attacks.
