4 civilians killed, 10 injured in Houthi shelling of army position, residential areas

Four civilians were killed and 10 others injured in an artillery shelling of Taez city carried out by Houthi militias on the Yemeni army positions and nearby residential areas in a violation of the truce reached almost one month ago.

The Media center of the Yemeni military council said the Houthis continued their shelling of the residential areas in the heart of the city.

The center explained that representatives of militias in the truce committee rejected the demands of the government representatives to open the outlets of the city according to the agreement reached two days ago.

In northern Taez, a report released by the media center of the Yemeni resistance said Houthis have killed a number of civilians during April.

The report said the militias killed 10 civilians and injured four others in attacks on opponents, while 41 others were arrested during a crack-down operation against opponents.
