A Yemeni security official has been killed in an attack in Beida province by unidentified gunmen believed to be linked to al-Qaeda. Local sources told Arabstoday gunmen opened fire at a car in the Thi Naem district in Beida province, killing police chief Major Abdul Wali al-Nuhami and a companion. The incident took place outside one of the gateways to Beida City. Al-Nuhami and another passenger in the car were killed immediately, locals said.
