Yemeni President Abd-Rabbo Mansour Hadi

Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi said Sunday the national dialogue conference, planned to take place at the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Headquarters in Riyadh is a "logical and practical step" towards settling the political dispute in Yemen.
"The GCC initiative for peace in Yemen, which gained international backing, presents a viable solution to the crisis, President Hadi said during his meeting with Dutch Ambassador to Yemen in the southern city of Aden.
"The Riyadh dialogue will address all aspects of the political crisis based on the GCC initiative and the outcomes of the previous rounds of dialogue," he pointed out.
President Hadi commended the positive stance of Holland and the European Union in backing the constitutional legitimacy and the democratic transition in his country.
He noted that Holland offered essential financing for several economic projects in Yemen.
On his part, the Dutch ambassador affirmed his country's support to President Hadi as the legitimate head of state, and to Yemen in its efforts to prod economic development and overcome the current challenging situations.
