Yemeni authorities revealed on Tuesday the arrest of an alleged terrorist cell in Aden – including two members of al-Qaeda. In a press statement a security official maintained that the detained group was planning to execute a number of suicide attacks targeting vital institutions and a number of military and security personnel in Yemen. This follows the arrest of a local al-Qaeda leader on Monday. The Yemeni army is currently working to oust all extremists in the country.
