UAE ambassador to Russia Omar Saif Ghobash stressed on Friday that the agreement between US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Qatar- on fighting terrorism- will not be a solution to the problem that requires a regional one instead.
Qatar backs extremist political Islam that threatens the political future of the Arab world, envoy Ghobash was quoted as saying.
While it blocks the voices of liberal guests, Doha-based channel Al Jazeera hosts terrorists and extremists on its screen frequently, giving them time on air to expound their views, the ambassador added.
