As many as 37 people were killed and 40 others injured in a traffic accident on Wednesday in Sudan’s eastern Kassala State. Sudanese security official, Hussein Maghzob, said the accident involved two buses in a head-on collision. Mahgzob said he suspected the accident to have been caused by one of the bus drivers falling asleep behind the wheel. He added that all those injured are receiving medical treatment at the hospital, noting that some of them are in serious condition.
