The UAE Ambassador to Somalia, Mohammed Ahmed Othman Al Hammadi, has met with Somali Southwest State Administration leader, Sharif Hassan Sheikh Adam, at the embassy's headquarters in Mogadishu.

They discussed the strong relations between the UAE and Somalia, especially with the Southwest state administration.

Sheikh Adam confirmed his keenness on enhancing ties between the two countries, especially in the Somali Southwest State Administration. He also extended thanks and appreciation to the UAE's efforts in supporting Somalia in the development and humanitarian projects sector, and all other fields for the benefit of the Somali people.

The UAE diplomat extended thanks and appreciation to Adam for his efforts in boosting ties between the two countries.

Al Hammadi hosted a banquet in honour of the Somali official at the embassy.
