Tunisian Ministry of Interior imposed an overnight curfew on eight regions, including Tunis, following riots that broke out this weekend. The eight hour curfew from 9 pm to 4 am was imposed on Sunday after extensive rioting on Friday and Saturday, in which a police station was set on fire. Prisoners set fire in an escape attempt that was foiled by Tunisian security forces, sources said. The curfew will be applied to Ben Arouss, Ariana, Manouba, Sousse, Monastir, Jendouba and Ben Guerdane.
