A Syrian military vessel has violated Lebanese waters before firing on fisherman, injuring one, the state-run National News Agency has reported. Fisherman Khaled Ahmed al-Ali sustained injuries to his leg, the report said, while his boat was fishing off the northern Arida coast in Lebanon. Al-Ali has been transferred to hospital for treatment. In a similar incident last year, a Lebanese teen was killed and his uncle injured when the Syrian navy opened fire on them. Meanwhile in the south of the country, Israeli reconnaissance planes have again entered Lebanese airspace, passing over southern cities including el-Bekaa and Beirut.
