Khartoum - Abedalgoum Ashmeag
Sudanese Interior Minister Ibrahim Mahmoud Hamid on Thursday gave amnesty to all Sudanese refugees in Israel should they return to Sudan.
Hamid said that those who come back will be subject to routine investigations to assure they are not a security threat.
The minister added that huge numbers have already returned from Israel after initially immigrating. He claimed that Israel lied to the immigrants and worked to use the nationals against their own country.
Hamid urged the immigrants to return to Sudan and engage in the development and reconstruction of the country.
