President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received on Monday Kuwaiti First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sabah Al Khalid Al Sabah, Presidential Spokesman Alaa Yousef said.
The meeting was attended by Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and Kuwaiti Ambassador in Cairo Mohamed Al Zoweikh.
During the meeting, the minister conveyed Kuwaiti Emir Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah's greetings to Sisi. He also asserted his country’s keenness on fostering relations with Egypt in all fields. The minister also expressed his country’s willingness to host the Kuwaiti-Egyptian joint higher committee meetings.
Sisi asked the visiting FM to convey his greetings to the Kuwaiti Emir. He also hailed Kuwait's support to Egyptians’ will over the past period. The president also underlined Egypt’s keenness to continue consultations with Kuwait in various regional and international issues of mutual concern including the Qatari crisis.
Sisi asserted that Egypt will never allow any country to interfere in its domestic affairs. He also underlined the importance of confronting policies that support terrorism and aim to spread instability in the Arab region.
Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti minister stressed that his country is keen on Egypt’s stability and security.
