President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Wednesday issued a decree appointing Counselor Ahmed Abul Azm as head of the State Council.
Abul Azm is holding the post after retired Counselor Mohamed Masoud, said Council Secretary General Counselor Fouad Abdel Fattah.
Abul Azm was holding the post of deputy chairman of the council.
