Permanent representative to the Arab League and senior officials in the Foreign Ministries concluded here Friday their meeting within the framework of their preparation for the 25th Arab summit due here March 25-26. The senior officials held a closed-door session to prepare the draft resolutions that were referred by the Economic and Social Council, which met in Kuwait yesterday. According to Kuwait News Agency, the draft resolutions covered a wide range of issues including the follow up of implementation of the resolutions of the last Arab summit, and the Arab Economic, Development and Social summits. The draft resolutions also included the establishment of the Arab Banking Commission, the establishment of a Grand Investment Zone and a mechanism for coordination of humanitarian aid. The Economic and Social Council of the Arab League will meet at the Finance Ministers' level tomorrow to put the final touches on the economic and social files, to refer them to the Foreign Ministers who will meet in the following day.
