Leader of the Popular Current Hamdeen Sabbahi has called on all Egyptians to vote for Egypt's draft constitution.
During a meeting with Italian Ambassador to Egypt Maurizio Massari, Sabahi said that voting for the newly-drafted constitution will renew confidence in Egypt's future roadmap.
Sabahi said that the majority of Egyptians welcome overall amendments in the new draft, except an article pertaining to military trials for civilians.
"The new draft is better than the suspended constitution, which was adopted during the era of the Muslim Brotherhood group," he said.
Sabbahi voiced his readiness "for running for presidency, if all political powers name him as a revolutionary candidate."
He called for enhancing economic and trade relations between Egypt and the European Union and promoting European investment in Egypt during the coming period.
