An Australian soldier with the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) died in a roadside bomb blast in the southern Uruzgan province Sunday, the Australian Defense Ministry announced Monday. ISAF reported the death of a coalition soldier in an explosion in southern Afghanistan but didn’t disclose his nationality or the exact location of the incident, Afghani News Agency (PAN) reported So far 360 ISAF soldiers including 39 Australian soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan this year. Last year, 566 foreign troops were killed in the country. There are nearly 1,500 Australian soldiers stationed in the Uruzgan province.
