Daesh militants

Chairman of the Council of Elders in the Libyan city of Sirte on Thursday said that negotiations with Daesh militants are underway to allow employees to get into the city's Governmental Authorities complex.
In a statement today, Mouftah Marzouk said that the governmental headquarters blocked by Daesh include Sirte municipality as well as the offices of the ministries of foreign affairs, health, culture and planning.
The blockade led to disruption of services provided to the citizens, Marzouk noted.
